CODING (QUREO)

Story of QUREO

A city is attacked by bugs (coding errors) and they need our help! Students will explore 56 adventurous chapters covering coding and game building, whilst having fun and becoming a hero. QUREO Programming Class is an educational service developed to help children learn programming in a fun and ongoing manner.

Daily Activities

Daily Activities Students as early as elementary school can enjoy learning the basics of programming while creating up to 4 games in a single session. Progressing through the variety of characters and storylines while learning the fundamental coding concepts is both challenging and fun.

Why Coding?

In the current digital age, technical education is advancing rapidly and many schools are integrating programming into their core curriculum. The importance of building a foundation for coding starting at an early age has become important across the world. Therefore, we want to equip our students with an understanding of computer programming, so they can thrive in the future when they enter the workforce.

The Programming Assessment test I-TOPS is used to systematically measure the knowledge of the programmer and identify the concepts that the students can focus on in QUREO.

The basics of programming are taught through a block-based visual interface that is easy for kids to learn and understand, and experienced coders will be challenged through advanced coding concepts across various languages. In this unique program, students not only learn the concept of computer language, but also have a fun and practical method to apply it.

TOFAS (Test of Fundamental Academic Skill) is an online academic assessment tool designed to identify the specific strengths and weaknesses of a student. A global academic comparison is offered four times a year and is available exclusively in Canada through Musicworks Canada. This tool allows precision assessment for parents, students, and teachers to understand the area of improvement per topic in detail and identify how students can improve their learning fundamentals. When learning in traditional school environments, there can be gaps in learning. TOFAS helps bridge those gaps. Based on the results, students can focus on areas that need improvement instead of completing assignments that they’re already familiar with, which allows individual learning and a more efficient use of time.
