learn through music

We are about quality music education for your little ones, and it starts with our experienced and qualified teachers. ABC, 123, and Do-Re-Mi are exciting and easy to follow here. All of our teachers are RCM certified or equivalent, so we incorporate music theory to recognize different notes on the strings of violin and ukulele and how to properly play them, different sections of the piano and finding the alphabet on the keys, and how to play with both hands at the same time going in the same or opposite directions to develop hand-eye coordination.

PRACTICAL LEARNING

Similar to our Music Lessons, our preschool program teaches students the proper posture for Violin, Ukulele, Piano, Drums and Vocal in a way that aligns with your child’s physical development. Students gain rhythm skills from the drums and bongos, using different types of auditory stimulation to develop auditory perception, which is a stepping stone in cognitive and language development which is what helps kids learn how to read! Singing brings together all of these elements to create an enjoyable and progressive learning experience.

1-ON-1 WORKSHOPS

With our small class settings and spacious classrooms, there is individual coaching throughout the classes. Students have the opportunity to explore their own interests while learning the Preschool Curriculum. In addition to vocal development and tone and pitch recognition, teachers will introduce the alphabet and numbers as well as some basic math concepts in tandem with music.

PARENT COLLABORATION

Our Preschool Program maintains a student to teacher ratio of 4 to 1 with a maximum of 6 students in one class. We like to work in partnership with parents to bring successful education for their children, which is why we send class resources home to practice and let parents join classes occasionally.
